I'm Doctor Camilla Forlin. Born 5th October 1989, I always distinguished myself for my calm but attentive character, guided by a profund dedication towards other and innate determination. Since I was a Little girl, I cultivated an enormous passion for Roal Dahl's books, which powered my imagination. I am a daydreamer, I love Christmas and the magic that it brings with, I draw princesses and I can't resist the beautifulness of an unresolved enigma.
I was always brilliant in school, and, since I was young, I dreamt to become a doctor.
When high-school ended, I read " Ti amerò", by Piero Angela, a book that opened new perspectives: the possibility to explore emotions, the power of choice and the feelings through neuroscience and biochemistry.
I enrolled myself in the course of Medicine at the University of Ferrara, where, after I ended the 6-year program, I discovered I was passionate about neurology, but still uncertain about what path to choose.
I got my degree in October 2017, and got the medical licence in February 2018. After that, I decided to use my knowledge and my studies becoming the Medical Director of two Nursing Homes in the province of Trentino-Alto Adige.
During this experience, I started to understand and focus my values and what I was good at:
Total focus on the patient
An enormous communication capability
Empathy
Scientific precision keen on therapeutic strategies
A long lasting sense of responsibility
I felt that my studies weren't done yet. Pushes by an big dream of knowledge, I decided to specialize myself again enrolling into the International Master in Aesthetic Medicine in Milan, where I discovered an authentic passion for the discipline.
I then decided to merge my values into this new specialization course, joining the ICAMP Master in Milan and participating updating courses and international congresses, so to guarantee a continuous formation and always being up to date with the best treatments available.
I got the opportunity of joining some private masterclass with top tier specialists in Aesthetic and Plastic Medicine. Their guide has improved my aestetic sensibility, so to focus towards a natural but elegant vision.
As an author that takes inspiration from his adventure, I believe that my medical experience and my competence are grown by the multitude of experiences that helped me to shape the person and the professional doctor that I am today.
“Cultivate the lateral thinking, searching unique experiences and reading much are for me the best way to find the right colours to draw my creative project.”
